Chapel Hill Rams Spring Lacrosse Rec Program!

Fielding teams for 14U, 12U, 10U & 8U players!



Chapel Hill Rams is a recreation lacrosse program created to introducing the game of lacrosse to beginners and intermediate players, as well as, to provide continual develop for experienced players.  We will be training over a 2 month period with 8U & 10U training 1x per week while 12U & 14U training 2 x per week with 5 play dates in late March and April. This 9 week session will focus heavily on teaching basic skills (cradling, ground balls, catching, throwing, shooting, dodging & defense) and continual development with offensive strategies and lacrosse IQ.  We will incorporate all skills in all of the drills that we run and push the pace and intensity where and when necessary.  Small sided drilling and big picture play will become a major focus as we begin to see players develop. Our goal is to instill passion, excitement and fun for the game of lacrosse.

Practice Dates: (Tuesdays 8U & 10U | Tues/Thurs 12U & 14U)

All dates listed below:

March 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31
April 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28

Scheduled play days: (14U, 12U & 10U play dates listed) 8U will be limited unless we feel players are ready.

Times: 
6:15pm-7:15pm:  8U (Tuesdays)
6:15pm-7:30pm:   10U (Tuesdays)
6:30pm-8:00pm:  12U (Tuesdays/Thursdays)
6:30pm-8:00pm:  14U (Tuesdays/Thursdays)



Location: Scroggs Field (501 Kildaire St. Chapel Hill, NC)

Cost:  $150-$225 depending on age

Equipment needed:   stick, mouthguard, goggles, water bottle
